Mr. Mike Matlock served for 33 years as Senior Director in Manufacturing and Engineering with The Dow Chemical Company. His extensive management and leadership experience includes acquisition integration, maintenance and reliability, site and project management, change management, and logistics at USA and global locations. He also played a key leadership role in developing Dows Global Improve Reliability, and the Global Improve Turnarounds work processes as well as change management methodology, organizational design, and empowerment. Mr. Matlock has a passion for employee development and is significantly involved in leading U.S. Gulf Coast industrial workforce development. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan.

Roy Whitt

Roy Whitt

Former Marathon Petroleum Employee

Mr. Roy Whitt has 30 years of experience in the refining industry, most of which were spent with Marathon Petroleum Company. He has been a technical service engineer, an operating superintendent, a refinery superintendent and the vice president of business operations, among other roles. Mr. Whitt has served on the API General Refining and Operating Practices Advisory Committees and NPRA’s Manufacturing Committee. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Kentucky and a member of AIChE. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (New York, USA), and an MBA from Morehead State University (Kentucky, USA). He is a graduate of the Ashland Management Development program at Indiana University and the Executive Program of the University of Michigan’s Business School.

Current Senior Staff Manager – Digital Transformation with Baker Hughes, a GE Company

Mr. Larry Covino has 38+ years of BHGE Digital leadership, direct sales, service and training experience focused on Asset Performance Management, Reliability Consulting, Asset Condition Monitoring and machinery protection systems specification, application, installation and retrofit for all classes of machinery in the O&G, Hydrocarbon Processing, Petro-Chemical, Power Generation and other associated heavy industries. Currently, he is the Senior Global Commercial Team leader for BHGE APM, Production Asset Reliability, PCM & Meridium APM Integrated Solutions and SME. He is also a past member of the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals.
